Cyntel Technologies is currently accepting applications for an Expert Level GIS Administrator to support a customer located at Ft Liberty, NC.

Clearance – TS/SCI

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications, have eight years of progressive GIS server experience.
Shall be highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
Strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python with knowledge of C# and Java.
Perform at high level/expert intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation.

Required Experience:

Shall possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
Shall possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Shall possess high level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data.
Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.

Desired Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
